How The UK Press Saw The Opening Ceremony…


This morning we looked at the press reaction from across the world after last night’s Opening Ceremony.

The Times’ stablemate The Sun simply went with one word:




While the Telegraph went for dramatic front cover – even if their scribe saw the affair itself as “parochial”.




The Guardian went for a similarly dramatic visual presentation, with a simple headline summing up the general feeling of the media coverage…
