Running Rings Round The Man From The Middle Of Nowhere
Our modern Prime Ministers, by and large, are not known for their dazzling wit.
Historically speaking they’ve not been known for hysterically speaking.
We couldn’t help but raise a titter, however, at a remark made by David Cameron at the weekend.
Now THERE’S a line I never thought I’d write.
In response to our mate Mitt and his sneering at our Games, Cameron referred to The Mittster’s role in organizing a previous Olympic Games somewhere in North America.
"We are holding an Olympic Games in one of the busiest, most active, bustling cities anywhere in the world," he said."
“Of course it’s easier if you hold an Olympic games in the middle of nowhere.”

The Games so far… colour, great atmosphere all over London, drama, tears… and new verbs!
“There are high hopes that she could podium in this event.”
“It’s a tough event to medal in, but I’ll give it my best.”

The Truth Is Out There…

Ian was up bright and early on Saturday to have a nose around the Olympic Park. And you can view his pics at his website www.ianvisits.co.uk.
