On Saturday, the Premiership season began.
London’s big clubs – Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, Crystal Palace, West
Ham and Fulham – started the quest to depose champions Manchester United and
bring the crown back to London.
On the same day the Extra Preliminary Round
of the world’s greatest knock-out club competition also began: the F.A Cup.
While the millionaires of the Premier
League strutted their expensive stuff, the smallest teams in the country began
a journey that will end at Wembley on Saturday 17th May 2014 in the F.A Cup
Final.

Nine steps down the pyramid system from Arsenal and Chelsea, the welcome is warm and cheery, admission is £4 and a lovely cuppa tea is about a third of the cost of a cup of brown milk at Starbucks |
