Friday is Rock'n'Roll London day

On this day in Rock'n'Roll history, Eddie Cochran was born in 1938.

Cochran played the NME Poll Winners' Concert as a special guest at the Empire Pool, Wembley and the Finsbury Park Empire as part that fateful UK tour of 1960, which ended in the fatal car crash on the 17th April.
