A London commemorative plaque for every day in 2016.

Sir William Empson
born in Yorkshire 1906 was a poet and leading figure in the modernisation of literary criticism and Hetta, Lady Empson a sculptor born in South Africa 1915.

At their Hampstead home they entertained a wide circle of intellectuals, artists and politicians in the 1950s. Their open marriage has been the subject of numerous biographies.
