Friday is Rock'n'Roll London Day: Some Christmas Songs

Friday is Rock'n'Roll London Day!

The Rock'n'Roll London Walk meets at Tottenham Court Road Station every Friday at 2pm.

DC Editor Adam choses a few Christmas songs…

It still seems odd, all these years later, Bowie and Bing. But still delightful…

Also delightful is this mostly affectionate but ultimately ludicrous tribute/parody from 2010 starring John C Reilly as Bing and Will Ferrell as Bowie…

Just as odd (but no less lovely) is Lead Belly and his album of sings for children (mostly recorded in 1945). Here's my fave…

Every year at Christmas, the Beatles recorded a seasonal message for their fan club. here's the 1967 version…

And here's the 1964 version…

Here's the trailer for the Rock'n'Roll London Walk (Rex is leading today, meet him at Tottenham Court Road tube exit 1)…
