The Daily Constitutional Editor's Diary 2016 January: #Bowie, #Snape & Rain

At the end of 2016, The Daily Constitutional's editor Adam looks back at his walking & blogging London year…

January

So… January was pretty mean…

… and meaner yet…

My first big walk of the year – regular Daily Constitutionalists will know that my days off are taken up with big London rambles – took me from Greenwich Peninsula at dawn…

… to Chelsea and thence into the West End. Here's the route…

January is a pretty good month for sunsets, too…

On the 9th January I conducted the Ghosts of the Old City tour – a walk which may as well have taken place IN the Thames, so heavy was the rain. Here's a 30 second video dedicated to the London Walkers who stuck with me, and for all the marvellous London Walkers who brave the elements in the winter…

A London Walk costs £10 – £8 concession. To join a London Walk, simply meet your guide at the designated tube station at the appointed time. Details of all London Walks can be found at www.walks.com.
