David Tucker Has A Rant About A #TripAdvisor Bully. And Who Can Blame Him?

-->
Adam writes…

This weekend London Walks was on the receiving end of a nasty TripAdvisor review followed by an aggressive and bullying emails from one lennoxaa who claimed that one of our guides did not show up to lead a London Walks tour. (Not true, of course - the guide did show up, it's just that the pseudonymous lennoxaa was looking in the wrong place.)

Doh.

Now everyone is entitled to their opinion. And millions around the world enjoy writing and sharing reviews.

But it's the BULLYING that we HATE. Especially by those who refuse to go by their own name.

For the record, my name is Adam Scott (I would post nothing online that I would be ashamed to put my name to), the woman who was bullied by lennoxaa on email at London Walks is called Mary Tucker and her husband David Tucker, London Walks guide and Special Correspondent for The Daily Constitutional, wrote the following reply to the "review" from our discombobulated bully…

This is a calumny. Peter was there. The walk did take place. We have to be where we say we're going to be and Peter was.

This "review" is akin to saying I went to Heathrow to catch a scheduled British Airways flight. I was there, British Airways didn't show. I certainly WOULD NOT RECCOMEND this airline. Your witness."

Q. "Which Terminal were you at, Mr. Lennoxaa?"

A. "Terminal 2"

Q. "British Airways doesn't operate from Terminal 2, Mr. Lennoxaa. As per all their published information, they operate from Terminal 5, which is where they were. Could you please expound on why it is you think BA was at fault?"

A. "If they had regard for their customers they would have come looking for me at Terminal 2. They are completely responsible for me missing that flight. And I'm going to tell Trip Advisor about it in CAPITAL LETTERS."

A London Walk costs £10 – £8 concession. To join a London Walk, simply meet your guide at the designated tube station at the appointed time. Details of all London Walks can be found at www.walks.com.
